Sicily, Jun 2 (EFE).- The activity of Etna, the largest active volcano in Europe, located on the Italian island of Sicily (south), is showing signs of weakening after Monday's powerful eruption, which caused intense tremors and a lava flow at its summit. The National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) reported this afternoon that the eruptive activity has entered a “decreasing phase” and that the emission of ash, although “weak”, continues.
