Liverpool (UK), May 26 (EFE).- A man was arrested this Monday after crashing into several pedestrians in downtown Liverpool (northwest England) during the celebrations of the league championship of the city's namesake football team, Merseyside Police said in a statement. Authorities confirmed in an X post that they were attending a traffic accident in downtown Liverpool after receiving a call after 6:00 p.m. local time (5:00 p.m. GMT) that a car had collided with "several pedestrians" on Water Street.
