South Korea election rally sparks protest in capital
Seoul, May 30 (EFE/EPA).- On Friday, protesters gathered in Seoul during a campaign rally by Lee Jun-seok, the presidential candidate of South Korea’s New Reform Party. The demonstration took place just days before the country’s presidential election, set for June 3. Lee, one of the younger candidates in the race, has sparked controversy with his views on gender policies and proposals to abolish the Gender Equality Ministry. (Camera: JEON HEON-KYUN).
