Los Angeles, USA, Jan 8 (EFE).- Firefighters are battling a fast-moving wildfire in the Hollywood Hills near the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, prompting mandatory evacuations. The Sunset Fire threatens homes near Runyon Canyon Park, a popular tourist destination. By 18.15 local time, the fire had burned about 10 acres of vegetation. The fire is one of six active wildfires raging in Los Angeles County, driven by strong Santa Ana winds, which have already claimed five lives since Tuesday.
