Kashmiri Muslims offer prayers during Urs of Shah-e-Hamdan
Srinagar, Jun 3 (EFE/EPA).- Thousands of devotees gathered on Tuesday at the shrine of Shah-e-Hamdan to commemorate the anniversary of a famous Sufi Saint, Mir Syed Ali Hamadani. The shrine of Shah-e-Hamdan or Khanqah-e-Moulla is one of the oldest Muslim shrines in the region, commemorating the Iranian who visited Kashmir various times in the 14th century playing an influential role in the spread of Islam in Kashmir.
