Simion speaks after exit polls give Dan the lead in Romanian elections
Bucharest, May 18 (EFE).— Exit polls following the close of voting in the second round of Romania’s presidential elections place pro-European candidate Nicusor Dan in the lead, although they do not yet include the decisive vote from the Romanian diaspora, which strongly favored ultranationalist George Simion in the first round.
