Не менее 23 человек погибли в результате пожара в магазине на северо-западе Мексики
SONORA, Mexico, Nov 2 (EFE).— Mexican authorities are investigating whether a power transformer caused the deadly explosion and fire that killed 23 people and injured 15 at a Waldo’s store in Hermosillo, Sonora, on Saturday. Sonora Attorney General Gustavo Rómulo Salas Chávez said experts are inspecting the entire installation, including solar energy converters. Sonora’s Secretary of Government, Adolfo Salazar Razo, ordered the closure of all 68 Waldo’s branches in the state while safety inspections are conducted. Authorities said the store lacked an Internal Civil Protection Program. Most of the victims have been identified, and the company pledged to support the families and cooperate fully with the investigation. (Camera: DANIEL SANCHEZ).
